Her artistic journey began with over six years of private art study, followed by continued education through various classes and completion of Art Academy. But her growth wasn’t just artistic—it was deeply personal. Life presented many challenges, including the heartbreak of divorce, the demands of raising a young family, and the profound loss of her second husband. During these seasons, she put her creativity aside to focus on her greatest calling—caring for others.

For years, Kathy dedicated herself to caregiving—whether as a mother of four, a grandmother to six, or in her work with children, the elderly, and individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. “It wasn’t an easy life, by any means,” she recalls.
